The new year has brought many changes, including with how people are engaging (or not engaging) with health and wellness brands. Our 2020/2021 Winter Health and Wellness Forecast takes a look at likely health and wellness consumer behavior as we enter 2021. We surveyed 200 US consumers on topics that include exercise, diet, vitamins, healthcare service providers, and more.

Key insights include:

  • "COVID fatigue" has left many people less than enthusiastic about making big, health-related new years resolutions.
  • As the economic downturn continues, we see considerable differences in the behavior of affluent versus lower income audiences.
  • The adoption of telehealth services continues to surge, especially in a few key areas.
  • Vitamin brands appear to be having a branding problem, as too many look-alike options have entered the space over the past several years. So, is this a problem... or an opportunity?
