Art can be intimidating. Many people are apprehensive to visit art museums because they all too often perceive them as stuffy, pretentious, and reserved for members of the elite. With the creation of a friendly and somewhat ironic radio spokesman, we’ve helped the DMA make it their duty to break down those outdated stereotypes and appeal to a new generation of potential art-goers by welcoming all who want to experience art. Whether you’re quick to identify the layered metaphors within a classic piece, or simply see a few erratic squiggles on a canvas, at the DMA, you’re free to think as you please.
