Slingshot Serves Up New Red Mango App

DALLAS – (August 29, 2013) – Today Red Mango, twice named top frozen treat in the country by Zagat surveys, launched its newest frozen-yogurt-finding app thanks to Dallas-based Slingshot LLC. The agency developed the new app that pinpoints Red Mango locations and highlights each location’s “flavors on tap,” which rotate often. The free app is available for download today at the Apple App Store.

Slingshot Claims Two Telly Awards for Texas

DALLAS – (August 6, 2013) – Telling the story of Texas in two, thirty-second commercials is one tall order. Yet Dallas agency Slingshot LLC captured Texas’ diverse, natural beauty and its eclectic, vibrant music scene in two award-winning television spots, “Great Outdoors” and “Live Music.” The full-service advertising agency earned its client, Texas Tourism, silver and bronze statuettes at this year’s 34th Annual Telly Awards. Slingshot’s entries dominated the travel/tourism category with the only two trophies awarded in the group. These are top honors from a guild that doesn’t give golds.

DALLAS – (July 25, 2013) – Pizza Inn, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZI) hired Dallas-based Slingshot LLC to elevate its flagship Pizza Inn brand out of the pizza wars. Millennials, young families and pizza-lovers will get a taste of new promotional efforts this summer with traditional paid advertising, point-of-sale displays plus category-breakthrough digital and mobile efforts. The $1.4 million assignment confirms Slingshot as agency of record for Pizza Inn, responsible for all communications work beginning with brand repositioning efforts. Paid ads and other marketing messages will appear in 44 media markets among 16 states this summer.
