Owen started Slingshot in 1995 with an eye towards developing a different kind of Agency, one that's built to take advantage of the exploding media landscape and the increasingly important digital environment. An agency that's balanced across all disciplines, where great ideas can come from everywhere and clients are treated like partners, not just customers. And above all, an agency driven by a culture where open communication, transparency and trust aren't mere words, but a way of life.
In addition to his role at Slingshot, Owen is the President of the Americas for AMIN Worldwide, an alliance of over 50 independent marketing agencies that includes Slingshot. He also serves on the Foundation Board of the UVA Architecture School (where he received his Undergraduate Degree), The Board of the Dallas Gold YPO Chapter and the Board of the Dallas Arboretum.

David may seem mild mannered, but plans to make your brand famous are brewing. He has 20 years of experience of leading big names like Greyhound, Dave & Buster’s and the American Heart Association. His fortes include: establishing consumer brands in any media and leading marketing teams in design and development of integrated campaigns. In his 15 years at Slingshot he has worn many hats. Karen has been with Slingshot for over eight years and in that time has proven that her energy puts a spark plug to shame. With over 25 years of financial and accounting experience, from public accounting with a large global firm to advertising agencies of all sizes, Karen definitely has us covered in the money department. Proud and vocal about being a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Karen shows her Longhorn pride wherever she goes. David's mission is a simple one: to help our clients grow. After years working with iconic brands such as Motel 6, Jack Daniel’s, and Greyhound Lines, his career has developed the ring of a pretty good country/western song. He’s won just about every industry award in the game, leading branding efforts for the above-mentioned brands, plus many, many more. After spending much of his career on the creative side of the business, David now leads Slingshot’s brand strategy efforts, tapping into consumer behavior to help clients realize their growth objectives. David also leads /Explore, Slingshot's strategic marketing practice dedicated to brands in the leisure travel and tourism industry.
Charlotte possesses the rare combination of quantitative expertise and the ability to inspire her team. In fact, in high school she was named “AP Physics Student of the Year” the same day she was awarded “Varsity Cheerleading MVP” – which proves how her analytical mind and contagious enthusiasm thrive together. Prior to joining Slingshot in 2008, Charlotte worked in brand media at The Richards Group, and her work has won an international OMMA, earned national recognition by MEDIA Magazine and scored many gold and silver trophies in the local arena too, across such accounts as the Florida Department of Citrus, GameStop, Susan G. Komen, Fuel Rewards/Shell Oil, VeeV Spirits, Corner Bakery Café, and SMU Cox. Charlotte is a country music aficionado, an interior design hobbyist and a Texas Longhorn. She and her husband, both Dallas natives, dote on their two young daughters and their yellow Labrador.

His book, Underdog Advertising was winner of USABookNews.com Best Books 2006 National Book Awards in the “Business: Marketing & Advertising” category. His work has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally. Paul was also president of Flowers & Partners Marketing Communications for 23 years, before merging his advertising agency with Slingshot. Today Paul runs Circa 46, a Slingshot company that specializes in marketing to seniors.LinkedIn
Sarah helped launch Slingshot Content Studio in 2018 to provide world-class content for brands and agencies, but her Slingshot roots run deep. She ran operations for Speakeasy, a former sister company to Slingshot, where she oversaw business systems as well the program management and agency services teams. She has experience in digital marketing across multiple channels – from running an agency (of one) that helped a local startup to qualify and compete in TechCrunch Disrupt Battlefield to handling The Dallas Morning News' native advertising program. Sarah loves to keep life interesting, be it through agency life, traveling the world, or discovering a new live music festival. She’s excited by new experiences, big ideas, and connecting great people. Her two burning questions are, “What’s next?” and, “How can I help?”
